TET with Friends – What’s Behind It?

Hardly any offroad track in Europe has become as popular as the Trans Euro Trail® (TET). Divided into different countries and sections, individual parts of the TET can be turned into true offroad adventures. Today, most riders tackle the TET on big adventure bikes, even though it was originally intended for lighter trail bikes.

The official TET definition states:
"The Trans Euro Trail® is aimed at small and medium capacity trail bikes (...) Yamaha WR250R and XT600 etc. (...) Larger bikes can tackle it but riders need to be more experienced and competent."

So what does that mean for us?
Can we ride the TET with large adventure bikes?
Yes — absolutely.
But the TET does not provide difficulty ratings, warnings, or technical details. You only find vague descriptions in forums or YouTube videos.

This is where HighEnduroTours comes in. We allow you to enjoy your Offroad Motorcycle Tour Spain without accidentally riding into sections far beyond your skill level.

All TET segments included on this tour have been individually scouted and graded by us. Our guides assess your riding during the tour and select sections that are suitable for your ability — challenging enough, but never overwhelming.

And let’s be honest:
Who wants to get stuck alone on a narrow single trail with half-meter rock steps? Exactly — nobody.

We are also fully prepared for technical issues. A flat tire or small mechanical problem is no obstacle on this Enduro Adventure Bike Tour.

Winter Escape Adventure – Andalusia TET Motorcycle Tour

The tour starts in Málaga and leads us clockwise through Ronda, Tarifa, Cádiz, Jerez and the Sierra Morena, before returning to Málaga.
A total of around 700–800 km, with six riding days, half a rest day at the sea, and true offroad highlights — the perfect winter escape motorcycle adventure with lots of sun, variety, and a relaxed atmosphere.

Riding Level

Adventure bikes with basic offroad experience.
Not hard enduro, but also not simple gravel highways.
Our guides select the appropriate sections so you ride safely and with maximum fun.

Day 1 – Arrival in Málaga

Individual arrival in Málaga.
In the evening: welcome meeting, group dinner, and tour briefing.
We discuss the week’s schedule, check motorcycles and equipment, and get ready for the adventure.
Overnight stay in the Málaga region.

Day 2 – Málaga → Ronda

Approx. 140 km – Warm-up in the Sierra de las Nieves

After breakfast, we finally hit the road, leaving the city and heading straight for the dirt. Only a few kilometres outside Málaga, we switch to gravel.

The route leads through the Sierra de las Nieves, past olive groves and over winding mountain tracks.
In the afternoon, we reach Ronda, spectacularly perched on a rock plateau.
A perfect first riding day to settle in and get to know the group.

Day 3 – Ronda → Tarifa

Approx. 180 km – From the Mountains to the Sea

Today we transition from the mountains into southern Andalusia.
Our route takes us through the Los Alcornocales Natural Park, Europe’s largest cork oak forest, along varied tracks and through small villages.

In the afternoon, we arrive in Tarifa, the southernmost point of Europe, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic.
Overnight directly by the sea.

Day 4 – Tarifa (morning free) → toward Cádiz

Approx. 60–80 km – Relax & Ride

The morning belongs to Tarifa:
Breakfast with ocean views, strolling the old town, watching kitesurfers or simply relaxing.

In the afternoon, a shorter stage begins along the coast.
Sandy tracks, sea views, and small trails take us partway toward Cádiz.
Overnight on the way or in the surrounding region.

Day 5 – Coast → Jerez de la Frontera

Approx. 150 km – Coastal Trails & White Villages

We ride through the Costa de la Luz, with bright sandy soil and pine forests.
Passing picturesque white villages, we enjoy fast gravel sections heading toward Jerez de la Frontera, home of Sherry.

In the evening: group dinner in the old town, Andalusian atmosphere at its best.

Day 6 – Jerez → Sierra Morena (near Sevilla)

Approx. 170 km – Olive Groves & Land Tracks

From the coast, we head inland again.
The scenery changes to golden fields, olive groves, and wide gravel tracks.
A relaxed, varied riding day.

We stay in the Dos Hermanas / Sierra Morena region and enjoy the final evening away from the coast.

Day 7 – Sierra Morena → Málaga

Approx. 160 km – Finale in the Sierra de Grazalema

A real highlight awaits on the last riding day: the route leads through the green, mountainous Sierra de Grazalema.

We return to Málaga via small tracks and winding mountain roads, arriving in the afternoon.
Evening group dinner, dusty motorcycles, great stories and the feeling of having truly arrived in the south.

Day 8 – Departure

Individual departure or optional extra days in Málaga.
