Adventure Bike Tour – Black Forest to the Vosges
You want to spend an entire weekend riding offroad, discover new landscapes, and enjoy your adventure bike — whether it’s your own or a rental Africa Twin — on varied terrain?
Then our three-day tour through the Black Forest and the Vosges is exactly what you’re looking for.
We meet on Friday at 09:00 at the Ultraterrain Offroad Park in Geisingen.
We begin the day with a relaxed breakfast at Ultraterrain. After a short introduction to the bikes and the tour schedule, we head straight into our offroad weekend.
Day 1 – Black Forest to the Vosges
We start with beautiful winding roads leading into the Black Forest. Even here, we occasionally leave the asphalt and put the knobby tires of our adventure bikes onto the first legal offroad tracks of the region.
Yes — even the Black Forest has several legally accessible offroad trails.
After our first riding section, we stop for lunch at a traditional local restaurant.
Refreshed and recharged, we continue our journey toward the Rhine Valley.
After crossing the Rhine Valley, the terrain becomes mountainous again.
Scenic, curving roads lead us over the Grand Ballon into the heart of the Vosges.
A short time later, we arrive at our hotel in Fresse-sur-Moselle, located directly at the foot of the Col de Bussang.
This will be our base for two nights.
After a stylish multi-course dinner prepared by our host Elke, the first day of our Vosges tour comes to a close.
Day 2 – Offroad in the Vosges
The day starts with a rich breakfast. Once we’re back on the bikes, we head straight into the next offroad sections of the Vosges.
A breathtaking landscape awaits us: countless small lakes, forest tracks, scenic passes, and plenty of onroad and offroad fun.
After another evening in the cozy fireplace lounge of our small private château, we prepare for the return journey toward Lake Constance.
Day 3 – Return to Geisingen
A network of beautiful small roads connects the Black Forest in ways only locals know.
Far away from busy tourist routes, we experience the region from its very best side.
Upon returning to the Ultraterrain Offroad Park, we look back on three exciting and memorable days.

We provide you with your own private château, offering comfort and personal service in the beautiful natural landscape of the Vosges, right on the Moselle River.
